When we are young, we have so many hopes and dreams of what life will be like. We dream of the person we will become.
As an adult, we encounter barriers that keep us from becoming who we want to be and building the life we crave. These barriers make it so easy to despair and give up hope.
If you are reading this, you probably are discovering a voice inside saying that there is still hope. That things can get better. A voice saying you CAN become a better you, if only you had the right tools and support.
I love working with people who are discovering that voice.
My passion as a therapist is empowering people and working with them to develop the tools they need to live their best, happiest lives.
My goal is to create a trusting, supportive space where your experiences and feelings are validated. It is also to help you discover what strengths lie within you to create the change and growth you seek.
Over the years I have worked with adult and young adult clients over a wide range of issues in both individual and group counseling, including:
anxiety and depression
work and career stress
parenting child survivors of sexual assault
Reach out today to discuss how I can support you on the journey to a better you. I provide free initial 15 minute telephone consults.
I have two office locations in Chicago. The first is at 30 N Michigan across from Millennium Park and 53 W Jackson near the Harold Jackson Library. They are convenient to public transportation (including several train and bus stops), the Metra, and garage parking. The buildings and offices are both ADA accessible.
